Journalists learned recently that the No. 2 sand and gravel processing system of the Caculo Caba?a Hydropower Station in Angola has been officially completed and put into operation. This system was constructed by CEEC China Gezhouba Group, and all the main equipment along the line was provided by Nanchang Mineral Systems Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “NMS”).
It is understood that the total installed capacity of the Caculo Caba?a Hydropower Station in Angola is 2,172 megawatts. It is currently the largest energy project undertaken by a Chinese-funded enterprise in Angola and is known as the “Three Gorges Project” in Africa. After the project is completed, the average annual power generation can reach 8,566 gigawatt-hours, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 7.2 million tons each year. It will provide a strong and stable power guarantee for the economic and social development of Angola.
