Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Jiangxi Province announced the list of approved projects for the “Research on the Maturation and Engineering of Major Sci-tech Achievements in Jiangxi Province” in 2026. The project “Sagnac and φ-OTDR Integrated Optical Fiber DAS Demodulation Instrument and Industrial Application” submitted by Jiangxi Tonghui Technology Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Tonghui Technology”) in our city has been successfully selected. It has become the only provincial major sci-tech achievement maturation project approved in Nanchang in 2026, adding another significant achievement to Nanchang’s sci-tech innovation. It highlights Nanchang’s leading edge in the field of major sci-tech achievement transformation.
This project focuses on the engineering research and development of the Sagnac and φ-OTDR integrated optical fiber DAS demodulator, aiming to solve the compatibility problem of ultra-long detection distances of over 40 kilometers and high spatial resolution in the field of distributed optical fiber sensing technology, and to achieve an integrated audio-visual intelligent perception of DAS+ video linkage. After the successful implementation of the project, it will break the technological dominance of foreign enterprises such as OptaSense in the field of high-end distributed optical fiber sensing, achieve full domestic substitution of core components and complete systems of high-end optical fiber demodulation instruments, and provide independent and controllable technical support for the safety monitoring of major national infrastructure, and strongly promote the development of the electronic information and high-end equipment manufacturing industrial cluster specified in Jiangxi Province’s “1269” action plan.
