On March 17th, the second meeting of the Financial Committee of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee was held. The meeting thoroughly studied and implemented the important remarks made by General Secretary Xi Jinping on financial work, conveyed and studied the relevant meetings and documents of the CPC Central Committee and the Provincial Committee, and arranged key tasks. Li Hongjun, Secretary of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Director of the Financial Committee of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee, presided over the meeting. Dang Jing, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee, relevant officials from the People’s Bank of China Jiangxi Branch, Jiangxi Financial Regulatory Bureau and Jiangxi Securities Regulatory Bureau, Zhao Jie, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Nanchang City, and Xu Hefei, Vice Mayor of Nanchang City, attended.
The meeting heard a report on the city’s financial work in 2025 and its plans for 2026, and deliberated on documents such as the key points of the work to be done by the Financial Committee of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee in 2026 and the key points of the Party building work in the local financial system of Nanchang City in 2026.
Li Hongjun fully affirmed the achievements made in the city’s financial work over the past year. He pointed out that this year marks the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan. The financial system of the entire city should thoroughly implement the important remarks made by General Secretary Xi Jinping on financial work, follow the decisions and plans of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the work requirements of the CPC Provincial Committee, fully increase the total amount of finance, continuously deepen financial reform, effectively strengthen financial supervision, and effectively prevent financial risks, so as to contribute more financial strength to the high-quality development of the city’s economy and society.
